I RECEIVED THIS PRODUCT & COULD NOT INSTALL THE UNIT AS TABS ON CARTRIDGE DOOR WERE MISSING! ICALLED TECH SUPPORT & IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A REPLACEMENT UNIT, THEY NEEDED A CREDIT CARD NUMBER FOR COLLATERAL PROPOSES. I SPOKE TO SOMEONE WHO COULD JUST ABOUT UNDERSTAND OR SPEAK ENGLISH, THEY GOT MY NAME WRONG BUT THE ADDRESS CORRECT. I HOPE I RECEIVE THE REPLACEMENT UNIT.

This device is almost utterly worthless. Loading and configuring the software required three separate install-uninstall-reinstall routines, each taking about 45 minutes. Machine frequently claims to be “out of paper” when the tray’s full. The software simply does not work very well, and rarely seems to work with the sheetfeeder for scanning or faxing documents. Hours on the line with HP support ran me through several non-solutions until they finally acknowledged that the software simply did not do what it should be doing. Do not buy this device.
